Principles of Die Casting Operation:


  • Die Creation:The process begins with the design and fabrication of a robust die, typically made from steel or aluminum.   • Metal Melting and Preparation:Selected metals or alloys, such as aluminum, magnesium, or zinc, are melted in a furnace and then carefully poured into a ladle, preparing the molten metal for injection.


  • High-Pressure Injection:The molten metal is injected into the die under significant pressure. This high-pressure injection ensures the material completely fills the mold cavity, taking on the desired shape.


  • Casting and Cooling:After injection, the molten metal cools and solidifies within the mold. Once the cooling process is complete, the mold is opened, and the newly formed part is ejected. It’s crucial to allow sufficient time for the part to cool completely to prevent potential injuries during handling.


  • Finalization and Surface Finishing:The last stage involves finishing the die-cast part. Surface finishing is critical for enhancing durability and functionality. Various finishing techniques, including anodizing, powder coating, wet plating, among others, are applied to achieve the desired final product.
